BOBCAT-CREEK
Location: North-central Montana, on the Charles M. Russell National Wildlife Refuge (CMR)
Size: approx. 2,000 acres
Wildlife: pronghorn, mule deer, sharp-tailed grouse
Conflict: Much of the great American prairie grasslands have been lost due to development, agriculture and other human uses. And even on wildlife refuges like the CMR, wildlife don’t come first! They have to compete with livestock for nesting and grazing areas, even though they need ample grazing lands and sheltered habitat to survive.
Status: We need your help to retire this critical acreage! The CMR contains more intact prairie habitat than anywhere else in America — by adopting a wildlife acre on Bobcat Creek you can give prairie wildlife the room they desperately need to roam.
Adopt your acres today and make a world of difference to these iconic wild animals.
